I bought a home semi-finals last summer in the woods. The former owner does not remove the leaves and has for many years produced a 6 to 8 inches deep in some places. It was a disaster for the least to say. I spent the winter, raking and burning leaves. Under the sheets is 2 to 3 inches of humus and a lot of root mass. I want to plant the grass court, but I do not know if I remove mold from the leaf, on the bare ground or in the first game on the leaf mold, and expect the best.

It is generally not a good idea to plant a garden under the trees.
They do not say what kind of trees the leaves fall. I would not remove the leaf mold, especially if it grow a lot of roots in it. The destruction of the roots could kill the trees.
A lawn usually requires full sun. There are certain types of grass that grows in the shade, but they are not as robust as a rule. So, when the lawn under the shady trees, it will be difficult.
